Manual Coating Application Equipment

  The Model SKDR shares coating application features with the SKDR-CO but offers the additional function of surface preparation. This unit is designed to prepare pipe surfaces to the desired finish and anchor pattern. The unit may also be used to prepare and coat tie-in welds, valves, fittings and station piping as well as repair coating holidays.
  Additional SKDR equipment provided in the surface preparation area includes a 7.8 yd³ (6 m³) capacity abrasive supply hopper, a dual-operation blast pot, and the breathable air system. A control panel allows for remote operation for personnel safety.
  Other support equipment such as the generator and air compressor(s) are mounted independent of the SKDR unit.
  The unit can be quickly mounted on the customer’s truck or tracked skid for easy right-of-way travel
