Bellhole

     The line travel Bellhole HydroKleaner (Models BH5R3036 and BHR4R2028 shown here) is designed for short-segment, in-the-ditch pipe coating removal projects. The unit is completely enclosed by an aluminum shroud and remotely operated for personnel safety.
  This Bellhole HydroKleaner is a five-rotary system, capable of 360-degree cleaning in a single pass. Where pump capacity is a factor, the unit may be operated using the lower two rotaries on one pass, and the upper three rotaries on the second pass, achieving 360-degree cleaning in two passes.   
  The 20,000 psi (1400 bar) water jets strip away old coating materials, leaving only the primer stain. The pipe, including longitudinal seams and girth welds, is left clean and ready for inspection. The collection pan is flanged to accept a discharge spout or a shredder when vacuum collection is required.

High Pressure Pump Units

     The Model HDP-163CH is a vertically mounted triplex pump designed to deliver 13.7 gpm (52 Lpm) of water at 21,000 psi (1470 bar). Vertical mounting minimizes space requirements and optimizes alignment of plungers and valves.
  The fluid end is constructed from forged stainless steel and designed to eliminate stress reversals which can cause fatigue cracks. The pump features a packingless design. Ceramic plungers slide on a film of water, the seal between plunger and sleeve. Friction is greatly reduced and, thereby, wear and maintenance.
  The power end houses a pump crankshaft made from forged, heat treated alloy steel. Heavy duty bearings are located on either side of the center throw to reduce crankshaft bending. A connecting pinion shaft powers two drive gears.
  A pressurized lubrication system, including oil pump, oil cooler, oil filter and pressure gauge, assures proper lubrication of all moving parts within the crankshaft housing.This system also provides the seal between the crankshaft housing and the fluid end.
  The unit is powered by a diesel engine. Power is transmitted directly through a flexible coupling. Internal gear reduction on the pump eliminates the need for dangerous external belts.
